Washington - Federal judges are jeopardizing national security by
issuing rulings contradictory to President Bush's decisions on America's
obligations under international treaties and agreements, Attorney General
John Ashcroft said Friday.

Have you heard of U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft ?
By [Rev. Neil Colton] I have to say something about U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft etc.. The Patriot Act is the most un-Constitutional law that America has ever seen. Anyone who voted for this law is guilty of crimes against America, the way most sane people see it at this point in time. What disturbs me the most, is that the seemingly insane man who wrote it, holds a position of great power in our Government. Did President Bush go soft ? Because judging by the way Bush ordered the deaths of so many of his fellow Texans as their Governor... You would think, that he would have had John Ashcroft put to death by now or at least in jail on death row, for writing the un-Constitutional Patriot Act. Since Bush supports him instead, why are Bush and friends still on the loose? I thought we had the FBI, the CIA and a war on terrorism to protect us from evil terrorists like John Ashcroft and President Bush? If the FBI and CIA haven't locked John and George up yet, are they just a waste of our tax dollars too? With men like that in our White House and the FBI and CIA turning their heads, it's all too clear... It's the American terrorists with-in our own Government, that will be responsible for the collapse of America, if America collapses. Until President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Condoleeza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell and other supporters of theirs are removed from positions of power, the terrorist threat against America will grow everyday. We read news stories
everyday about 9/11/2001. It is clear that the attack was planned,
and it could have been stopped. Here is what John
Ashcroft has to say... To that I say... John, didn't losing an election to a dead man tell you what the people of your own state thought of you? Your actions and insecurities have damaged America in ways that can't be fixed. You have played a big role in costing U.S. tax payers hundreds of billions of dollars. You've strongly supported wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, that have already taken the lives of 30,000-150,000 humans, or as I think of them... 'God's children'. (30,000 seems to be about what the Bush administration tells us...150,000 comes from the people still living in those two countries.) What part of 'Thou Shalt Not Kill', aren't you understanding? I thought it was pretty clear. John Ashcroft and other members of the Bush Administration are working hard to put women's rights back into the stone age. So my question is this,.. Why can't we leave a woman's rights, to the women to decide? They are as smart as men and just like men have been doing for 1,000's of years with their own rights... I say it's time to let women make all of the laws about women's rights. Using abortion as an example here... Americans, in court are suppose to be tried by their piers. Since men can't have babies, no men should have any say on abortion laws or any other female issues. John Ashcroft's control issues make me wonder if his wife is extremely strong, extremely ignorant, or if she is just afraid of John and his friends hurting her and/or others; if she were to leave him? I think that he needs mental help for his control issues that seem to have caused grave damage to America, Democracy, Civil Rights and Freedom Worldwide. Our forefathers proclaimed America to be, 'The Land of The Free and The Home of The Brave', but is it? No, not anymore the way I see it. The only way for America to have stayed free, was for Americans to have voted. Close to half of eligible American voters didn't vote in the November 2000 Presidential election and it didn't start there. Sure there are a lot of
people ready to blame the Bush Administration as a whole. There are
also a lot of people who place great blame on men like John Ashcroft
for creating laws like The Patriot Acts (1 and 2) and claim our loss
of freedoms to be their fault. But in the end, it's 'We The
People' who are really to blame for America no longer being
'The Land of The Free and The Home of The Brave,' because as a
nation we took our freedoms for granted a little too much. If just
half of us who did vote, had taken steps to help one friend register
and made sure they voted in 2000, chances are, The Bush
Administration wouldn't be in power today. It's all too clear that
America isn't and won't be 'The Land of The Free and The Home of
The Brave' for as long as the Bush Administration controls
America... Please take some time to learn what other people think of George Bush Jr.'s pick for our U.S. Attorney General,.. Mr. John Ashcroft. The Diminishing of
John Ashcroft ...It is through the very conservative
Sensenbrenner's committee that all of Ashcroft's legislative
proposals must clear. But its chairman, who deals only with
legislation, couldn't stop Ashcroft's executive order in May 2002 that
greatly loosened FBI surveillance guidelines, allowing agents to
covertly attend and monitor public meetings without any prior specific
leads indicating that anyone present was engaged in anything that
might be related to an investigation of terrorism... Ashcroft
Attempting to Silence Former FBI Translator Edmonds, 34, who is fluent in Turkish and Farsi, said she quickly reported the mistake to an FBI superior. Five months later, after flagging what she said were several other security lapses in her division, she was fired. Now, after more than two years of investigations and congressional inquiries, Edmonds is at the center of an extraordinary storm over US classification rules that sheds new light on the secrecy imperative supported by members of the Bush administration. In a rare maneuver, Attorney General John Ashcroft has ordered
that information about the Edmonds case be retroactively classified,
even basic facts that have been posted on websites and discussed
openly in meetings with members of Congress for two years. The
Department of Justice also invoked the seldom-used "state secrets"
privilege to silence Edmonds in court. She has been blocked from
testifying in a lawsuit brought by victims of the Sept. 11 attacks and
was allowed to speak to the panel investigating the Sept. 11 attacks
