the war on drugs and terrorism etc... It is put here in hopes
that it will make several Americans think long and hard about the
future of this great country of Ours, "America." I want to point
out in the opening section of this page, ( just like I do in the
last section ) that "George W. Bush" is no more responsible
for the future of our great country the United States of America,
than any American citizen that is reading this page. That is
the great thing about a Democracy. It is your overall input as a
nation that is supposed to tell our government how we want things

I would also like to point out, that we are in no way trying to
change ANYONE'S political opinions. We are just trying to get
more Americans to think about what is going on in the World around
them. We would also like to see more average American's like
you, get involved with Our Government. After reading this,

that think like I do, or more people that think like you do,

What is a terrorist or
terrorism for that matter ?
Because of the size of
this page we are breaking it into sections. This helps to make
it easier to pick up where you left off if you don't read it all
at one time. The sections are listed below:
So you could say, any Country that has ever
declared war against another Country, is committing an act of
terrorism on said other Country. You could also say, any soldier
going to war, is a terrorist committing acts of terrorism against
said other Country.

At this point I think of Bible stories from when
I was young. How many of you have heard the Bible story of David
and Goliath? You know the one where the little man with his
slingshot and stone, brings down the Giant. Now as a Superpower
Country, the U.S.A. is acting too much like Goliath, some would
say. Going around the world throwing their weight around and
acting like they are untouchable. At the beginning of this page we explained that
by dictionary definition, anyone taking part in a war, would be a
Terrorist. Recently we were looking at a web site that said by
dictionary definition, the"700 Club", "Pat Robertson", and for
that matter almost all "Religious Organizations" by definition are

ending terrorism in the world, This pop quiz is much like this web page. It does not require paper and a pencil, it is just put here to make you think. I hope that many of you out there stopped more then once when you were reading this web page when you got to a "?" and took the time to think about the question. For those of you that weren't paying attention ..... there are a lot of "?"s on this page. Now, on with the quiz: If you were in charge, and you had $50,000,000,000 to spend, which of the following answers do you think would help bring world peace the quickest? A.) Spend the whole $50,000,000,000 on defense? B.) Spend $10,000,000,000 on defense and the other $40,000,000,000 on feeding and clothing the hungry of the world? C.) Go with Newton's law that for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. Thus spending $25,000,000,000 on defense and $25,000,000,000 feeding and clothing the hungry of the World, and crossing your fingers that it all works out in the end? D.) Spend the whole $50,000,000,000 on feeding and clothing the hungry of the world? Now this was a rhetorical
question ( a rhetorical question by definition, requires no answer
) because there is no easy or right answer to THAT question. The
world is not all black and white, there are a lot of gray areas
around every corner. But one thing I will point out.... If you
picked A.) or D.) .... You are an extremist, and
sometimes extremists are just as dangerous as terrorists.
Most of the recent
talk about Terrorism in this Country started after 9/11/01,
when a group of Terrorists leveled the World Trade Center. Now
this was NOT the first time terrorists had attempted to do this,
and 9/11/01 was a very sad day for America when it happened.
After the tragedy it was all that was on TV for several days and
everyone seemed to be talking about it no matter where you
went.... Now I don't know if I should say it is funny, or just
say,... it is very sad for a Country with "In God We Trust"
on their money to react the way we did! I heard... "bomb them!",
"There is no question that we are going to war,.. the question is
with who?", "One thing is for sure !... they have just messed
with the wrong Country!" Etc......... Over and over again. Every
time you talked to someone new about what had happened, they
almost all had an opinion about it. But most wanted war ! Now we will take a look
in another direction in this search for terrorists in the World.
How many of you out there ever looked at the "War on Drugs"
as a terrorist act ? Because by definition, it is. In fact as I
recall, when the United States Government declared their War on
Drugs, I read an article in a magazine that said: According to
recent Government surveys, 40%-60% of all adult Americans use an
illegal drug at least once a month or more. Taking into
consideration that taking a prescription pill that was prescribed
to someone else is illegal, and drinking is legal but drinking and
driving is use of an illegal drug. I point this out to help you
understand why the numbers are so high. I also point this out as
a setup for my next question. Is the War on Drugs one of the
biggest acts of terrorism in modern times ? Or just another
American Civil War, the Government against it's people ? It is
clearly one or the other, which one do you think it is? Sorry to
do that to you but, since America has a higher percentage of its
population in jail than any other country in the World, ! ! ! I
felt that question needed to be asked. Yes sadly there is a third
choice, our Government declaring a war against God. Let's look again to the Bible and see if we
could guess what God might think about this war on these "so
called drugs".
So,... were American law makers trying to say
that they were Better, Smarter, or just Wiser then God
when they made these laws that go directly against "God's
words" ? Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56
men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Five signers were
captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died.
Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons
serving in the Continental Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the
Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their
fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they?
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine
were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well
educated. But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing
full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.
Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader
saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his
home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags. Thomas
McKean was so hounded by the British that he was forced to
move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress
without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions
were taken from him, and poverty was his reward. Vandals or
soldiers looted the properties of Ellery, Hall, Clymer, Walton,
Gwinnett, Heyward, Rutledge, and Middleton. At the
battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson Jr., noted that the
British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his
headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open
fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt. Francis
Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed
his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was
driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children
fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to
waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves,
returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. A
few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart.
Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates. Such were
the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These were
not wild-eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft-spoken men
of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty
more. Standing tall, straight, and unwavering, they pledged: "For
the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the
protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each
other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor." They gave
you and me a free and independent America. The history books never
told you a lot about what happened in the Revolutionary War. We
didn't fight just the British. We were British subjects at that
time, and we fought our own government! Some of us take these
liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't. So, take a few
minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank
these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.
Remember freedom is never free! It's time we get the word out that
patriotism is not a sin, and the Fourth of July has more to it
than beer, picnics, and baseball games." As most of you reading this already know,
America was based on freedom of Religion. And as most of you also
know, "In God We Trust" was put on our money because a
majority of out forefathers did believe and trust in God. The God
the highest percentage of them believed in, is the God talked
about in the History book that we call the Bible. The Bible is
the History book for the Christian and other Religions.
What do We as
Americans, want for the future of our "Great Country" ? That is
one that we should all think long and hard about.... Just like the 56 men that signed the
Declaration of Independence, you as Americans have to decide if
you are going to let other people and Governments run your lives,
or is it time to take a stand for freedom ? You also should ask
yourself... "Is freedom still alive and well in our Great Nation,
The United States of America" ? How United are We ? With
the War on Drugs that is affecting all Americans, and the war on
terrorism that affects all Americans, how united are we ? It
doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the wars on drugs and
terrorism ! What does matter is that Washington knows how you
feel about the issues. Without your input, they will continue to
do things the same way they are now. Is that what you want ? ?
So, be an American and tell your Government what you think they
should do ! That is the great thing about a Democracy, it is your
overall input as a Nation that is supposed to set how our
Government is run. So get those emails, letters, and phone calls
under way before someone else decides the future of this Great
Land of Ours.
