The 2009 US Economy in a Nutshell
The news is full of stories about the negative state of the US economy, but nobody is taking the time to tell it like it really is in terms most people can understand. Personally I think you deserve a chance to understand the long term impact.

If you have a personal income of $50,000 a year and mandatory outgo of $49,500 where does that leave you ?
Because by scale, that is where America was when Bush was sworn into the office of President.

So now your personal income drops to $45,000 a year and your mandatory
outgo goes up to $500,000 a year where would you be then ?

Because by scale, that is what the Bush/Cheney administration did with the American budget, and to a great extent did to the world budget, since our nation's outgo is owed to several other countries that need our monthly payments to make their budgets come together.

That said, I don't think there is a thing anyone can do to help the US or World economy short of a total worldwide financial crash and a slow rebuild to a gold based money system !

Sad but very true, that's the long and the short of the US/World economy in simple terms almost anyone can understand.

You might not want to believe this, but the above information is a huge understatement,
I'll give you an example as to why that is:

Example: When I was 18 I took out my first car loan. I borrowed $3,200 at 18 percent interest (in hindsight 1/2 went to the bank and the other 1/2 went to the car dealer) and over the 30 months for that loan, I had to pay just over $600 in interest.

4 years later while trying to buy the family farm, I went to FHA for a 2.5 percent interest loan of $440,000.
If I had taken out that loan, the payback would have been over 1.2 million dollars.
Why so much on such a low interest loan ? Because interest on top of interest on top of interest pushes the total payback through the roof on any loan over 7 years or over a few thousand dollars, that's why.

The US debt isn't thousands, millions or even billions, it's in the trillions, making the interest over the years several times as much as the debt itself. I can't tell you how much the total payback would be on 10+ trillion dollars. Few humans have a good enough math mind to try to figure that out on paper and no average calculator has enough numbers to start, let alone finish that equation. But to try and put it in a way you might understand to some extent I'll use seconds instead of dollars... 10 trillion seconds ago (as near as I can calculate it) was well over 520,000 years ago.. That said, do you think there is hope for fixing the US economy ?

Not to end this on a totally negative note, I'm sure at least 1 or 2 people out of a billion have the God given ability to fix our economy without a worldwide finance collapse, and if it's God's Will, one of those people might be in our current administration. Keep the faith and peace to all !
